R. E. SANCHEZ is a France-based Latin American visual artist whose work has been exhibited regularly in non-profit organizations, gallery and museum venues. He is a Salvadoran expatriate who in 1989 relocated to the U.S. to pursue his passion for art.  In 2000 he received his Bachelor of Arts degree (BFA) from the San Francisco Art Institute. 

 

Since 1994 he has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions both nationally and internationally. Among his past exhibitions are included The Artlink@Sothebys that traveled through Chicago - USA, Vienna - Austria and Tel Aviv - Israel. The AAF Contemporary Art Fair in New York as part of Miami-based Bettcher Gallery. Field of Vision: Beijing at the Beijing New Art Projects in Beijing China. Most recently his work was exhibited at The World Erotic Art Museum in Miami Beach as part of a traveling exhibition for The ES Art Group’s Third Annual Erotic Art Exhibition entitled ARTundressed.

 

R. E. SANCHEZ's work offers cultural commentary on the personal, social and political events of the human experience and can be found in many private collections.
