COMMENTARY 

 

My work speaks of empty spaces and of areas that could be filled with great energy and unity.  My reality speaks of those suffering in desolate areas without a clear answer or hope.  Yet it also maintains a true belief in change and greatness--of a utopia of incomparable wealth and knowledge where all humanity is one--of a place where not one is mightier than the other and all have enough. 

 

With a true sense of the world, a great artist speaks of the chaos and confusion that exists.  In many ways, the role of the artist should be that of sage and seer--of the shaman that sees the past, present and future and advises against the mischievous paths of lust, gluttony, sloth, wrath, greed, pride and envy.
